Two weekends ago, we spur of the moment decided to drive down to Iowa for B's brothers 30th birthday. It was a surprise for Uncle Justin when we called to sing happy birthday. He heard us from his front porch at the same time as his cell phone. Grandpa Roger and Grandma Sharon came up too. It turned out to be a beautiful and fun filled weekend. Cousin Elizabeth is another one of Sadie's favorite people. I am sure cousin Jameson will be too when he is old enough to run around. He is destined to be dressed up by bigsister E and cousin Sadie thats for sure! Cousin E and Sadie ran around and played all weekend. Cousin E did tell us she thinks Sadie is too old for diapers. HA. We all played outside, we went swimming in the hotel pool and the hot tub (well I didn't but B took Sadie), we played on the swing set and in the sandbox. Yet again a very tired baby :) We made the whole trip home without stopping (five hours!) and on one tank of gas!
We didnt' get many pictures on our camera but used Uncle Justins and Grandpa Rogers. pending receipt of those pictures, I will post some.
Yesterday we went to Indiana to surprise Uncle Seiji for his 50th birthday. Sadie helped make him cupcakes. It was small with just family but we had a great time. Sadie loves visiting the farm. Just wait till they open the pool she won't want to leave. Actually she didn't want to leave and hung onto Aunt Christine when we were trying to get her into the car. There was way to much food, lots of beer, and lots of fun had by all. Even Sierra is exhausted after chasing Bailey around the yard. Happy 50th Seiji!
