On a note to my super friendly state farm agent... no worries, the loss of the drivers side mirror will not be a huge loss. It can be replaced by my ever so handy husband for approx. $50-70. As of last night, the dangling piece of plastic, sans mirror, was removed so it is just empty now. You never know how much you rely on those little suckers till you lose one.
