Last Weekend

After the super busy week I had last week, Friday night b and I didn't have energy togo out so we stayed home and ordered sushi... .yum, sushi.... after which I went upstairs to do some more laundry. I put some clothes away, laid down for a minute because I was sleepy and bam, was out for the night. Fell asleep by 9:30 and slept until 8:00 the next morning. wow. Then Saturday was another busy day of running around, pet school 101 (we graduated from puppy preschool), quick trip to Indiana to help pa remove the soiled carpet from the 4 inch flooding of the basement last week, then home to get ready for dinner and partying for Sara's and Lyle's big 3-0 party. Who knew I could still stay out till 3 in the morning? not I. Who else knew that shots of beer out of the mini mug necklace I was wearing would create havoc the next morning? apparently not I. Yet Sunday we awoke feeling fantastic (lie) around 11 (true) to get ready for the Cubs game. Nothing like an old style at a Cubbie game to make a hangover go away (true sign of alcholism, curing hangover with more alcohol). Better yet the Cubs hit like 6 home runs and actually won the game (unbelievalbe but true)! Doesn't get better than that kids.
