Well I must say even after eating tons of food and opening presents, it still doesn't feel like Christmas. It came so fast. Here we were in Europe one day and then boom the next day its Christmas. What happened to Fall?
Besides not feeling the Christmas itchies this year it was a busy fun weekend. B and I left on Friday night late to drive to Iowa. Spent the day with B's Family on Saturday and Sunday morning, then off to IN to be with my family for one day. Lots of traveling! The trip from Iowa to Indiana was made in less than 5 hours thanks to our trusty GPS system. traffic wasn't bad either which helped.
But on the way home we noticed they finally have opened all four lanes on both sides of I-94. Woohoo! It is great. It really makes it faster getting home. Even better the skyway has two lanes to lead into it now too. no more going down to one lane.
