Sadie's daycare assessment

Yesterday was Sadie's most recent daycare assessment. They have these assessments I think quarterly to let us parents know how the kiddos are doing. Of course we ask everyday and are told but this is the official sit down for records etc. Well Sadie is doing great. She can count to 10 (except at home she only goes to 6 she still can't get the 7 out.), she pretends to read outloud her favorite stories, and is progressing nicely. She has started talking way more since her surgery and is using words, phrases and sentences appropriately. She loves to go outside to play but has a hard time coming in (ha). She still LOVES the slide. Sadie is also the little helper at daycare. She cleans up the table, helps put the sippy cups on the trays, helps the 'little' kids do things and tells them when they are doing bad things (sounds a little bossy to me but they thought it was a positive). Her only development need is to learn to listen to the teachers before they have to repeat themselves multiple times. (she doesnt like to sit through story time if she doesn't like the book!) If they can figure that one out, then I owe them because that child has a mind of her own. Ms. Karen thinks it is because Sadie knows #2 is coming but I think its just because she is Ms. Independant. Overall Sadie is doing great! yay. Now to get her to sit still during story time.

Her newest fun thing is to take either B or myself by the hand and pull us to where she wants to go. Like this morning when she said "Come here momma" grabbed my hand and pulled me into the kitchen. At which point she pointed to the bananas and said 'b'ana, mommy'. hm. not sure who is charge here.
