1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons dry white wine
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes (was a tad spicy for Sadie so might use a little less next time but otherwise good)
1 pound thin beef, cut in strips (used flank steak, recipe lady use ribeye)
1 (16 ounce) bag of broccoli florets, thawed (we used fresh broccoli)
pour in liguid incrediants. stir in garlic, sugar, and pepper flakes. slice meat and add to sauce. toss with spoons to thoroughly coat the meat. cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. (ours was done around 5) Add the broccoli and turn to high. cover and cook 30 minutes, or until broccoli has heated through (we let it good longer than 30 so it was nicely cooked, more ilke 45minutes). serve over white or brown rice.
Delicious. Sadie ate her whole plate. There were no leftovers. Says it serves 4 but with the three of us, Bryan, Sadie and I we licked our plates clean and the crockpot.
