Daddy: I will rock you and mommy can sit with you for one minute*
Sadie: well How about mommy rocks me and sits with me for one minute?
Daddy: daddy can rock you and mommy will sit with you. Lets go night night
Sadie: well I would like some water in my dora
Mommy: well I have an idea. How about mommy gets you some water in your dora, while daddy takes you up to brush your teeth and take your medicine.
Sadie: well i have an idea...

end negotiation tactics. In the end, Sadie had mommy rock her, daddy sit with her for one minute, give back scratches and her dora sippy. What happy aka spoiled little girl.

* "sit with me for one minute", is what Sadie says to mommy every night after mommy tucks her in. Sadie has since started asking daddy to also sit with her for one minute at night night time.
