It Happened.

Here I was in my last blog complaining about not showing and the next morning what happens? I wake up with a bump. It was a very obvious (to me anyway) difference from the night before. That was Thursday. This morning I woke up with avery hard bump. The pants I am wearing today are definitely showing the belly. Will be interesting to see when people start noticing and asking when I am due. Should I be indignate the first time and pretend it is just donuts :) nah.

This morning again confirms I am showing as I had to try on a few pairs of pants till I found one that fit. hm. Better be off to a maternity store sometime soon. I now only have 5 pairs (3 of which are maternity) to wear. The other two are what one could call my fat pants :) Not sure yet about my jeans but considering those were getting tight I am afraid to try them on. There is a little bump so if you know I am pregnant you can see it. If you don't know I am pregnant I definitely looked bloated or just as if I had too many twinkies. This is week 16 so i am only getting bigger from here!

On a work note I have some great news!! I was promoted, baby and all! wooohoo. I am now an HR Generalist. Yay me. It has taken some long hard times but I am here. The best part is that I get an office! WITH A WINDOW! It will be my first time ever not in a cube. Alas the down side is I am about to be thrown under the cart as one could say in the employee relations section. My boss is moving to Atlanta next week to be with her fiance which means I am the only member of our HR team in the Chicago office. Which also means that I will be repsonsible for all our employees in the Chicago office. You know Chicago, our company headquarters. yikes. Too must trust! :0) I am very excited and just waiting for my replacement to be hired so I can move to my office and start learning by fire. thank goodness for Instant Messenger!

Happy Valentine's Day to all! May your day not to be too overly filled with mushiness so you can continue to live a happy productive life.
