HR Seminar

So a little more on my seminar from last week. As I was getting ready for the seminar at the W hotel on lakeshore, I thought to myself, they must have a room for a nursing mother to pump, its a hotel. boy was I wrong. In a building filled with rooms, I ended up pumping in a foyer off the elevators on the executive floor of the W hotel. Yes folks that is right. I was in a foyer. The concierge originally suggested I use the back side of the bar area which 'no one really pays attention to'. Let me help you with this, people will pay attention to a woman with pointy things sticking out the front of her shirts, with tubes attached to machine making whoosing noises. Madonna proved it. Anywho, the foyer ended up not being too bad as only a few people walked by and I was covered by my sweater and scarf. But lesson learned. Just because you are going to a building filled with rooms, doesn't mean you will have one to pump in.
