Sadie sick again :(

Sadie is sick again. she woke up Sunday night/Monday morning vomiting with a slight fever. I called the dr on Monday to get her an appt. She had an ear infection so they prescribed an antibiotic. Well two days later Sadie woke up last night with a 102.6 fever! she was burning up again. something wasn't right. She had been on an antibiotic for two days. B called the dr but they said it takes 72 hours for a fever to break on an Antibiotic. To wait until she had six doses then see if her fever drops. Well i wasn't very happy with that diagnosis as it didn't seem right that she was on an antibiotic and her fever rose 2 degrees! After her afternoon nap, B took her temp again (after the motrin wore off) and it was 103.5! not again. so he immediately called the dr. Our thought and the dr's was another UTI. Not good. Since the antibiotic she is on is supposed to keep those at bay. We find out tomorrow morning if the test comes back positive. the first dr who found the UTI told me an ear infection isn't enough to make a 103 degree high fever. the dr who saw Sadie today also said the same thing, so why did the nurses not say that? Hm. I knew something else was wrong. Sadie was very clingy, burning up and laying her head on our shoulders. The only other time she did that was her UTI/Baptism day. Once again it is confirmed, mom's trust your instincts!!

I will keep you posted on the test results. If the test comes back negative I guess we will be back in the dr's office tomorrow.

Let's hope she starts to feel better soon. This whole family needs some sleep.
