incident with a sippy

We learned a valuable lesson last night. When you give Sadie a sippy cup with milk in it, and she tosses it off the tray onto the floor, pick it up immediately. Otherwise, she may find it the next day and drink some, which then leads to vomiting all night. So even if you can't find the sippy, look high and lo and ask Sadie to help you find it. Because that my friends was not a good night. At around 11pm Sadie started making random noises in her crib. I thought she was cold so i went to go check on her. She was sitting to the back of her crib with vomit all over her and in front of her. She saw me, pointed at the vomit, then started crying. We ended up going through all three sheets Sadie has for her crib and had to use a makeshift sheet. You will be glad to know all is well today. It was only last night she was not a happy baby. This morning she woke up sleepy but fine. Ate some toast and took a 2.5 hour nap (ok so I took that nap with her, it was great!) Back to normal she is but I can tell you I don't want to go through that again if I can help it!!!!
