Many folks have started asking about Sadie's 2nd birthday. Yes Sadie will be 2 on August 2, this Sunday. Its her golden birthday already! With everything going on in our lives right now we are postponing any party talk until later in August. It had originally been our intention to celebrate the birth of new baby, Sadie turning 2 and moving at the sametime. Well now that we have a place to move to (and not under the bridge by Kelmo's house) we can finally start to make plans. As it stands now, Sadie's tentative birthday party will be on August 29th or 30th. It will be in our new rented place so we can celebrate the fact that we have sold our house, moved, and have a new baby all with one cake that says Happy Birthday Sadie!
Pending the signing of the lease, invitations will be sent out whenever I get a chance. Give me a break people I just had a baby :)
In the meantime I can't believe my baby girl is going to be 2. She is such a delight and yet a handful at the same time. She is speaking in full sentences, with most of them about what mommy should or shouldn't be doing. It has been a trying time for her as she is happy but confused about her new baby sister Lise. This morning she told me to put baby Lise down and come help Sadie. She is still helping feed her sister but she likes to take the bottle of our Lise's mouth so we are still in learning mode. Its hard to explain 'gentle' to a rambunctious 2 year old but we continue to try. Ah the joys of parenthood.
