We did it

Man but last week was hectic. Going back to work takes planning. I am just starting to get an idea of when to wake up in the morning, how to get ready if baby wakes up, and how to keep baby sleeping so momma can get ready! Phew. Last weekend, Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Roger came up to help us do some projects to get house ready to go on the market. Grandma Sharon got to watch Sadie while the rest of us worked. Granted Sadie took her typical four hour nap on Saturday so Grandma Sharon was put to work as well!

Saturday night we had a wedding in the burbs. Traffic getting home was miserable. Thankfully Sadie slept with a little fussing the whole way but we didn't get home til after 1AM. Sunday we had the Southport Halloweeen party at Greg and Christy's with lots of babies. Strollers, costumes, candy, kids... it was madness! There were kids everywhere! It was so much fun but madness nonetheless. It was really a shame that some of the parents were so rude. We had a great time. Sadie trick or treated, even held the bag for a little bit. Some of the candy giver outers were a little perturbed at the parents of a 12 week old getting candy but most of them didn't care. As I pointed out to many, I am still giving Sadie breastmilk so technically she is getting the candy! ha! At one point, as we were crossing the street, a girl walked by with her friend saying "I freakin hate kids". Man was she in the wrong place at the wrong time! Thanks again Greg and Christy for the fun party, delicious chili and fabulous coffee.

After we got home from there, B and I went to work cleaning. We sorted, organized, trashed and pretty much just rushed around like mad to get our house in order. We thought the photographers were coming today to take pics of our house to put it on the market. We got the message last night from our realtor that she is scheduling them for after the cleaning crew comes on Tuesday. Hopefully then we have Tuesday night to 'organize' some more. B and I found out that the original house we put an offer on last May is now back on the market. We think there may have been a contingency offer that they accepted and something fell through. It is almost like fate. Hopefully our place sells so we can go for that one. In the middle of all this madness I of course was showing Grandma Sharon the houses we want to go see and we found out they lowered the price again by $15K. AWESOME.

maybe I will take an advil as man I am sore from cleaning yesterday. B and I walked home from the party and basically just didn't sit down for hours. Until at 7:30 I realized we hadn't eaten so I made dinner. off to work.
