so much has happened

Well I once again am a bad blogger. here is the update

Two Month appt
Sadie had her two month appt yesterday. She is 12lbs, 12oz and 23.5 inches long both in the 95%... her head is in the 50%...more and more like daddy everyday with big belly, tall but no brains... just kidding :) She is so smart. She copies me even sometimes making sounds that simulate what I said. Kate is my witness that Sadie tried to say 'fist bump'. I have been trying to get her to fist bump instead of high five so we have been practicing. Kate was holding her while I said fist bump and we both swear she tried to say it. She mimicked my tone and words. So smart! She smiles all the time now. Watches people. Even sat and watched Sierra the other day. Most of you have seen the bumbo pics so you know she can sit up like a champ, with help of course. She is however VERY crabby today and was yesterday. They gave her four vaccinations. poor thing felt so icky yesterday. We had to give her Tylenol for her discomfort. The stupid shots gave her little bruises on her thighs. so sad for her. She is better today but not her normal self. We have been getting some smiles through the tears. man she is a trooper.

Nanny
with me returning to work slowly getting closer, we have started the nanny search. right now we have interviewed three nannies and have another one coming tonight. So far they all seem acceptable. I guess I have been waiting to feel that, 'she's the one' moment. It hasn't happened. Two of them live very close, one across the street and one a few blocks away. Hard to know who to trust your daughters life too. We did find a daycare that has openings for Thursday and Fridays but we would still need a nanny for the rest of the week. We are making a decision soon.

House
We decided this past weekend to put our house back on the market. I know crazy in this crap market but we want a house. So the sooner we sell ours the sooner we can find a new home. At this point we know it will take awhile and we are prepared. We rented a storage unit to put a lot of stuff in storage to make it look bigger (I saw that advice on all those home improvement shows!) We are interviewing Realtors to see who has the best approach in this bad market so that should also be done this weekend.

Baptism
We are going to have Sadie baptised next April or May as we need to become members of our church before we can participate in the in service Baptism. The next new members classes are in November the weekend we will be in CA for B's friends wedding. We will become members next Feb/March so anytime after that expect an invite

CA
Yes we are taking Sadie on her first flight. gulp. I am hoping to still be pumping breastmilk at work so I will try to breastfeed Sadie on the takeoff and landing which is supposed to help their little eardrums pop. Wish us luck on this outing.

well I guess that is it. I return to work on October 22 so I may be more accessible during the day. Peace and Love to all.
