Well I can finally talk about it on my blog as the cat is out of the bag. Last weekend we went to Kansas to surprise Grandma Sharon for her birthday. It turned out to be a huge success. Grandma Sharon came home from work on Friday. Papa Roger opened the living room door saying "Happy Birthday". When Grandma Sharon looked in the living room she saw her parents and Great Grandma Netta. Then around the corner came B, and me holding Sadie. Her eyes were seeing us but her brain was not comprehending that we were actually there in her living room. Grandma Sharon took a second but realized we were not a figment of her imagination and screamed with delight. Sadie having just woke up from a nap was a little startled and cried a little. Grandma Sharon teared up when gonig to hug Ms. Sadie. It was a very touching moment. An hour later Sharon's sisters came in singing, an hour after that Justin, Tenley and 3 year old Elizabeth came in... then B went to the airport to get Aaron, Kim and 10 month old Annie. It was a very fun family filled weekend. Grandma Sharon had all her kids, kids in law and grandkids home for her birthday and had no idea we were coming! Crazy that we all knew since NOVEMBER and no one spilled the beans. Well there were a few close calls, like when Aaron texted Roger with a question on a pack-n-play and Sharon saw it. thankfully Aaron's very smart wife came up with a great cover very fast for that one. Happy Birthday again Grandma Sharon!
Sadie ever the champ survived the weekend. She was a little fussy today for Ms Erika the nanny but hopefully she will be back on her schedule soon. She is due for her six month checkup on Friday do you belive it? Weight guess: 18 lbs, 5 ounces...
B and I are officially signed up for new member classes at our church starting at the end of February. We are confirmed members in March so Sadie will be baptized in April. Save the dates coming soon!

Great surprise for Grandma - nice work!
We're doing a class in February and becoming members at our church, as well! And then planning baby's baptism.... All sounds very familiar :)
