For those of you who have been asking my weaning is going good. At this point I am down to one pump a day. The super bowl really helped as we got home from the party with fussy tired baby. I fed her, cleaned up, and got into bed when I realized I hadn't pumped. B said well you are weaning and I wasn't in pain or anything so I just went to sleep. That eliminated the evening pump! Now I pump 15 min in the morning and then am done for the day. I may try to just stop pumping in the morning after tomorrow. My supply is very low so I may try fo 10 min tomorrow. We will see. At this point my main concern is having to worry about pumping while at work with no pump! If I think I can do it I might just stop and pump at will to relieve/eleviate pressure. I can't believe I am almost done. phew.
As a side note, my freezer supply is still going strong. We use about three or four bags a day to feed the Sadiemeister. At night she gets a bottle of formula to get her used to the stuff for when we run out of breastmilk. At this point we may have breastmilk till Sadie is 8 months! We just started on end of October bags and have November and December still to get through. CRAZY.
