Today

i realize i just woke up but man does a nap sound good right now. What is the earliest after waking up in the morning is one able to take a nap?

The best is getting up, having breakfast, and going back to sleep. You don't have to wait longer than that. Sometimes a shower is nice, so you can sleep all nice and clean and comfy. But it is not required.
