Happy Fourth of July

B, Sadie and I had a very long weekend. Thursday night we went to Indiana to stay the night with c's parents. After Sadie went to bed, b, dad and I hopped into the hottub for a few hours. Friday morning we spent the morning playing with grandma and grandpa then were off to attend the family bbq Whiting, IN. Sierra was freaking out from the fireworks and attempted to burrow under my aunt and uncles house. She did find water which led to a very messy very freaked out puppy. It was good to see the family again.


We headed home in the afternoon in time for Sadie's nap, except she didn't nap on the way home. Right about a block away she fell asleep. B managed to get her from new car seat to the swing with only a few eye openers. Then we took a family nap. An hour later we headed down a few doors to our neighbors party. Sadie had a blast playing with Sarah and Ethan. They were racing down the driveway with their little walker toys. After much play and some whining, Sadie was off to bed. then b and I watched fireworks while drinking some beers on our deck. After the fireworks were over, I went in to potty and almost pee'd my pants laughing when Sierra scared me to death hiding behind the toilet.

Saturday Sadie got her second haircut, katelyn came over to see us, then Valerie, Jason and Courtney came to visit. Somewhere during all the peeps, Sadie went swimming in her new inflatable pool on the deck. She had good times, good times.

Sunday we woke up and went to Hayden's Baptism, then the after BBQ.

Sadie got to swim with Bricelyn in Bricelyn and Haydens pool. It even had a slide.

Then it was home for a long nap. I almost need a vacation from my holiday weekend!
