Couches FINALLY

Finally I feel like an adult. This weekend Bryan and I went shopping! He of course was not super excited about it but alas, it had to be done. We used up some of our last gift cards from the wedding, Yes the wedding that was last year, as well as some others we had laying around. We got new silverware as ours was rusting in the dishwasher, have you ever heard of that? it was supposedly dishwasher safe and silver but who knows. A new toaster, lightbulbs, B some new shoes (he wears them till they die), some baby books, including the baby book - Iwannareal names baby book and the best part... new couches!!!! Finally! no more ripped castoffs. We actually bought NEW couches. They are coming in the end of July, go figure, but the sales guy said theywill hold them for us till we can set up delivery just in case we are delivering something else at the time :) The excitment. The joy. B of course was moaning about money so I think I have spent my last dollars until baby comes but it was so worth it.

On top of that, B bought me an iphone for my early birthday present (another reason he was moaning about money). Yes the new iphone. We debated for a few days last week as B dropped his phone and broke it. I hear you wondering how if B broke his phone how I got a new one! It is a true story. After three days of debating/negotiating/discussion of which provider to choose, what phone, who would get one, the final outcome is that I got a new phone and B gets a new laptop. I wanted a PDA phone (and have for months) so we thought this might be a good time. He could have my razor. He doesn't have an agreement with a provider so we could have switched him to one until my contract was up in December. It was a long discussion. But then he surprised me with the iphone. whoo hoo. Plus he gets to play with phone at all times (like this entire weekend). I did warn him however that while I am in labor he has to pay more attention to me then the iphone or someone besides baby and I won't be walking out of the hospital! It will be good for delivery time though as the camera on the phone is pretty good, plus we have internet so we can email almost real time pictures. In theory. First we have to figure it out. Second we would have to take our attention from baby. It might happen though.
